Collaborative Creature

Ms. Collins challenged us to draw the body parts of different animals. I was drawing a the head of a red panda and I folded the the first drawing of the head and we started to switch to draw the body. Sililo drew a butterfly body and then we folded the paper again. We shared it again and Erich drew the Mermaid's tail. That we gave it back to the person who drew the head and I named my animal Pand-er-maid.

Manaiakalani film festival

On Wednesday 13th November my friends and I lined up in our house groups and we got a partner . We were now starting  to walk and we went to the first bus cause there were two buses. We were going to the Sylvia Park and we were singing 'The wheels on bus' and laughing and having fun.
When we went to the movies we watch 23 films from four different school and my favorite movie was the St. Patrick's Room 8 one because it's amazing cause we learned to protect our earth from the rubbish. We learned about not eating chocolate biscuits.  It was so long to finish the film and we were finished we went back to our school and then we went home.

For 2019 the new Zealand of the year is Hoiho

The Hoiho is the new Zealand 2019 bird of the year.  It is a penguin and it is a rarest penguin. The Hoiho likes to eat fishes when they jump and catch it with there own mouth and penguins (or hoiho) are seabirds who like to slide on the ice.

Planting our vegetable garden.

On Friday we went outside with my class mates and our teacher because we were going to plant vegetables in our garden. We carried the seedlings to the garden. We used a big fork and some spades to dig holes for our plants. When we were digging we found some earthworms and a spider.  Next, we put the plants in the holes carefully then spread the dirt around it. I pressed the soil gently but firmly around the plants so it will become cozy. I planted some spring onions.

We need to plant our own vegetables because they are fresh to eat and very good for our bodies.
I was tired in the end.

the first one is to use white loom paper. second you need to use a scissor and cut the black line but not the top one. third get a red and a black. fourth is to up and down the black and red. fifth 

when your done use a pencil to make a x like your favorite lines and a shape and the last thing if when your done go to your teacher and take a picture and show your tukutuku

Showing Smart Relationship qualities

This week of Cyber-smart was fun because ms. Collins  challenge us to make a tall  marshmallow spaghetti tower. This is how it works - first draw a plan, second when the name is on the board. Our team have to say something like smart helpful, thoughtful ,gentle and anything words that you like.

Third you will make a tall tower.

When its done the teacher will look how tall it is. She sized the ruler up to know the height number. I was with Julio and Nino and we chose the word trust because we always trust our friends.
